Steve Aoki finally released the official remix package to Phat Brahms (which I must admit was not really one of my favorite tracks), a full four months after the original release on Dim Mak Records. The remix package is pretty dubstep heavy, aside from this Tom Swoon remix, which stands out by a long shot. For those of you who haven’t heard of Tom Swoon (formerly Pixel Cheese), it’s about time you take notice. The Polish youngster has been putting out some big remixes over the past year, and at the ripe age of 19, his best is probably yet to come. It’ll be interesting to see if he makes the move to original production soon, because his talent is undeniable.
As for the rest of the remix package, there wasn’t anything incredibly noteworthy. For our dubstep and heavy-house fans, if I had to pick another one to listen to it would probably be the Coone remix.
