Zedd feat. Mathew Koma – Spectrum

German power house Zedd always comes through with his releases, and this time is no different with his latest track “Spectrum” featuring Mathew Koma. Making a name for himself after hitting the top 20 for Beatport electro house chart, and remixing Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”, Zedd was on the fast track to fame, and ever since there’s been no looking back. The talented young artist was added to Skrillex’s coveted OWSLA label earlier and has been taking the over the charts slowly with every release. A stand out when it comes to his sound, Zedd has been able to blend multiple genres ranging from dubstep, electro, and progressive house which is distinguishable from any other artist out there.

When I first streamed the preview of “Spectrum” on Zedd’s SoundCloud yesterday, it already gnared over 108,477 plays and has racked over 50,000 more since, showing that fans are diggin the new choon. With Zedd’s style and complexity we get mellow played out vocals layered with a slowly progressing synth filled melody, dropping into our favorite electro grime while hitting your ear drums with some deep bass lovin’. Stay tuned for the release of “Spectrum” on Interscope Records June 4th!
